Massage of Northern Ohio Practice Based Research Network (MNO-PBRN)
A Practice Based Research Network for Clinical Massage Therapists
Doing Research from A-Z
What is a Practice Based Research Network (PBRN)?
PBRNs are groups of primary care clinicians and practices working together to answer community-based health care questions and translate research findings into practice.
What is the Massage of Northern Ohio Practice Based Research Network (MNO-PBRN)?
The time has arrived for massage therapists in Northeast Ohio to gather together and enjoy collaborating, networking and learn about Practice Based Research Network’s (PBRN) and the opportunities we have in our backyard.
Being involved in MNO-PBRN will open opportunities for massage therapists to bring their experiences and insight from their practices to help identify practice patterns that can improve primary care.
Our Mission: To improve access to massage therapy, to conduct research on its efficacy and to educate and empower the public, health providers and policy makers.
Our Vision: Provide resources and education to Licensed Massage Therapists to support the generation of evidence based knowledge and the integration of the practice of massage therapy into the healthcare community.
We hope to achieve this mission by providing members with:
- Educational Opportunities
- Updates on current events in massage therapy, healthcare initiatives, and legislation
- Updates on research opportunities
- Networking opportunities with like-minded massage therapists.
- Developing a research agenda for Northeast Ohio massage therapists
